The Estate

Little Massingham Estate was bought by the Birkbeck family in the 1800s and it still remains a healthy 2000 acres in size. The rolling heathland here is a haven for wildlife and the conservation work undertaken by the estate is considered some of the most important in the region.

The house was built by the current incumbent Oliver’s great grandmother at the end of the 19th century.
